Why am I doing this ?

A few years ago, while playing club cricket, I found myself inspired by Virat Kohli’s dedication to fitness. Motivated to improve my own health, I followed the advice of friends and joined a gym. As I dived into learning from various sources, I began noticing real changes in my body, which fueled my passion even more.

This curiosity spilled over into my home, and I started making small changes in our family meals with my mom. One of the simplest changes—switching from white to brown rice in our predominantly rice-based Malayali diet—had a profound impact. My mother's blood sugar levels dropped permanently, a change that fascinated me and pushed me to learn more about the role nutrition plays in overall well-being.

This was the turning point. I knew I wanted to pursue nutrition on a deeper level, which led me to complete a bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition. Today, as a nutritionist, I use the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to help others achieve their own health and fitness goals, just like I did.

My Experience Until Now 💼

Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from various walks of life, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. Some sought weight loss, while others needed to manage conditions like high blood sugar or cholesterol. The common feedback? They all reported feeling more energetic, having greater clarity about their health, and debunking a lot of myths they once believed. That clarity allowed them to make long-lasting lifestyle changes.

Like any journey, there were challenges—most notably, clients initially getting results but then dropping off due to lack of consistency or trying to do things on their own. This led me to pivot my approach. I introduced more sustainable strategies focusing on building habits and making my packages more holistic, incorporating not just diet but also exercise, sleep, and stress management.

One of my proudest moments came recently when a long-time client told me how her children had started encouraging her to eat healthier and avoid junk food. This aligns with one of my personal goals: to positively impact entire families, ensuring that health and fitness extend beyond just the individual.

From my own fitness journey—filled with both highs and lows—I’ve gained insights that help me better relate to my clients. Like many, I’ve struggled with consistency but always find my way back. This personal experience allows me to empathize with clients when they face challenges and helps me guide them through their own roadblocks.

A highlight of my work has been leading corporate seminars and workshops, where I’ve spoken to employees about health and fitness and conducted personalized physical assessments. Being able to inspire people in these settings and follow up with them afterward has been incredibly rewarding.Ultimately, my mission is to create long-lasting change, whether it’s through one-on-one counseling or larger-scale workshops. I believe in transparency, honesty, and making the process enjoyable so clients can lead healthier lives, not just temporarily, but for the long term.
